The Claddagh Ring
The story of the Claddagh Ring dates from the 1600's, when in the ancient fishing village of CLADDAGH (pronounced "Cladah" ) on Galway Bay, it was used as a wedding ring.
The hands signify friendship, the crown is for loyalty and the heart is for love.
